Secret # 1:

Your soul ALREADY KNOWS what you desire + the exact lifestyle that will allow you to live your dreams.

But it’s up to you to take action on it.

So what is your juicy vision? What do you want to do, be and have?

Depending on the nature of your goal, vision or dream, at some point that nasty bitch is sure to raise her ugly head. You know that little voice that tries to hold us back.

The voice of fear and doubt that tells us we don’t deserve what we desire, we might fail and well we just might not be good enough. I call this stinking thinking!

In your quiet moments, what do you think about?  How far you’ve come, or how far you have to go?  Your strengths or your weaknesses?  The best that might happen, or the worst that might come to be?  In your quiet moments, pay attention to your thoughts.

Because maybe, just maybe, the only thing that needs to shift in order for you to experience more happiness, more love, and more vitality, is your way of thinking.

Secret #2:

Go deep be courageous and dance with fear.

Fear is an opportunity for self-discovery and self-growth it is the gateway from wishing and wanting to doing and being.”

When we begin to shift those fear based perceptions to love…then we can make bliss happen!  Being mindful of what you think, feel and want and living your life in ways that truly reflect that will ensure success.

But I just don’t know where to start. If you are all too familiar with the experience of overwhelm or with feeling unclear about what’s next in your life ~ guess what you are not alone.

Secret #3:

Soul aligned clarity rocks. If it’s not a sacred yes; it’s got to be an honoring no.

Decisions, Baby steps, Massive leaps, It’s all important.

Clarity comes when we allow ourselves to experience the pain of surpressed emotions, when we witness the chatter racing through our minds and learn to choose how we respond to life.

If you want to step fully into your power, ask yourself this question before you take any kind of action or make any decision:

What would I do if I completely owned and embraced my full power right now?

Secret #4:

Declare Your Superpowers! Your quality of life is a direct reflection of the quality of your choices!

People who love themselves know what they think, feel, want. They are mindful of whom they are and act on this knowledge, rather than on what others want for them. They make their happiness a priority and know they are worth it!

It takes faith and courage to stand up and say out loud that you deserve better.

What would make your life more deliciously radiant and why?  What do you need?

Secret #5: Take control! Give yourself permission to set and maintain better boundaries.

Think about events or circumstances over which you would like more genuine control.

Control means managing them better, reducing their unhealthy impact or eliminating them entirely. List these circumstances and write a brief description beside each of why it is important to you and exactly what it is you can or cannot control about it.

Look for patterns on the list. Do certain people keep reappearing in the scenarios? What is the overall healthy or unhealthy impact on your well-being?

Reflect on exactly what is causing these patterns and write down your thoughts

Secret #6: Decide where to take action; Eliminate so YOU can Illuminate

Recognize that you have two key alternatives: either you will take firm action on controlling, reducing or eliminating stressful life circumstances, or you won’t. It’s as simple as that!

By consciously choosing and committing to take affirmative action on the life events that you can control, you are setting out on a helpful and healthy course that will lead to better outcomes.

Admitting that there are some circumstances that you can’t do anything about, means you are choosing not to fight the impossible. Instead, you are choosing to let these stresses go and to focus your energy on things you can do something about. 

Make an Action Plan

Change is inevitable so being better prepared for its arrival can go a long way in helping you not only balance your priorities, but also, your overall ability to manage the impact of the circumstances on not only your own well-being but also for those around you too.

Secret #7: Create daily practices and rituals that nourish your mind, body and soul.

Self-love translates to total self- care. Although self-care is unique, for everyone it demands intentional actions to maintain optimum physical, mental and emotional health. You love yourself more when you take care of your basic needs.

Claiming your chic + beautiful life is about tapping into your divine feminine so you can shine with authentic, radiant beauty and enthusiasm for life. Recognize that looking and feeling your best isn’t a selfish act of vanity; it’s about expressing love for yourself by showing up in the world as the BEST possible version of YOU.

If you’re ready to access your superpowers, own your desires + rock your life; then I challenge you to ask yourself; “What’s one thing I can start doing NOW that will get me closer to my ideal?” Then start doing it.

Be Inspired

When was the last time something inspired you, I mean the ‘get out of your seat and take action’ kind of inspired?  Did you share how inspiring that was?

Do you read?  There are so many inspiring books to read out there.  I am not just talking about the self-help books either.  I recently put a status out there for people to tell me about books that inspired them, we had children’s fictional books like Wind in the Willows and Roald Dahls books as they held so many great Morales.  Maybe you’ve read a biography where someone had such a lifechanging experience, you were inspired to do things on your bucket list?  More often than not, you will find in your local library a staff selection pick of books that inspired them and if they don’t?  The staff are always more than happy to point you in the direction of books that changed their life!

When was the last time you watched a movie that (excuse the pun) ‘moved you’?  We all have those favorite movies, movies that have a story about people overcoming adversity, adopting children, being strong in a dark time.  Grab a movie today that inspires you and let other people’s stories change your life!

Forgiveness Opens Your Heart to Receive Love

The title says it all. The importance of forgiving is that when we withhold love from someone else we withhold love from our self, it’s involuntary.  When we withhold love from our self we suffer from feelings of anger, resentment, jealousy or bitterness. It could be some or all, it doesn’t matter, these are all fear based and they eat away us, draining our energy. It affects everything and everyone around us whether we realize it or not.

Traditional forgiveness is known to be difficult and that’s because it’s based on conflicting ideas; the desire to forgive does not balance out with the need to condemn because something wrong happened.  This is why people may need therapy to forgive something serious or most times we just try to deal with it the best we can and push the feelings down. The feelings need to go somewhere because they are energy too, you can’t get rid of energy, only transform it.  So these painful feelings become either repressed or suppressed in our body and the emotional pain stays with us. We are stuck in a victim consciousness.

The consequences to not forgiving others and self are very costly.  Here’s the breakdown: when we are carrying around emotional pain it gets stuck in our body, along with our associated victim and perpetrator stories.  It takes energy to hold on to them therefore our energy is diverted from our present moment.

The more repressed the pain and stories are the more energy it takes to keep them there. When so much of our energy is diverted to our pain we have little left in our now, and this is where all of our power is! Just think about it, when we are in this victim consciousness we have little energy to make changes, pull ourselves out of our funk, have better relationships, build a successful business…. we are left depleted and become the effect in a cause and effect world.

This is why these people struggle, it’s not that they don’t want to make positive changes and feel better; they don’t have enough energy to do it!

It’s also important to note that the longer the emotional pain stays stuck in our body it will eventually move deeper into our physical body and could come out as disease, especially auto-immune diseases such as Cancer.  If we can transform the painful energy before it goes too deep into our body we can avoid this from happening.  It’s not a cure but it’s a preventative practice physically, mentally and emotionally.

So if traditional forgiveness doesn’t work and not forgiving is so costly what do we do!?

We have to get radical! This is where Radical Forgiveness comes in.

Radical Forgiveness, created by Colin Tipping, is easy to do by almost anyone, it follows a step by step process and no therapy is required! It works like magic and it’s permanent with one secret ingredient.

The concept is that if we could see the spiritual big picture (which we can’t) we would realize that everything that happens TO us is happening FOR us, , there are no exceptions and no accidents!

I realize that some people may not agree with this and I have great news, you don’t have to!

We are spiritual beings having a human experience; we use our 5 senses to determine what is real to us. Most of us have a strong suspicion there is something else going on, a bigger picture, however our consciousness is not there yet so it’s not easy to believe in fully.

I’m happy to report that for Radical Forgiveness to work there is no belief necessary; you just need the secret ingredient which is Willingness!

That’s right; you only need to be willing to be open to the possibility that it might be true!

See all the wiggle room you have here? It works for the skeptic just as well and it works with any religious or spiritual belief system. The only people it won’t work for are those who don’t believe in a higher power of some kind.

Just be willing to be open to the possibility it might be true that nothing wrong happened and it was all purposeful, and then trust the process. That’s all that’s required and we can reap the benefits it brings us which are more energy, feeling lighter, at peace, happier, better relationships with others and ourselves…..the list goes on and on, but basically Radical Forgiveness brings us from the fear vibration to the love vibration.

So how do you do it?  Radical Forgiveness has 5 Stages called The Tipping Method ™, and here’s a short description of what they are. These stages are incorporated into all of the Radical Forgiveness technology.

Stage 1: Telling the Story

We tell our story to a compassionate listener who honours it to be our truth as we see it in that moment.  We might be our own listener if we are doing a RF worksheet. Transforming our pain can only occur if we have had our story witnessed and validated.

Stage 2: Feeling our Feelings

We must get in touch with our feelings that created this victim story in the first place. We don’t need to stay in them; feel them, own them (no one can make us feel anything), love them and accept them! All of them!

Stage 3: Collapsing the Story

This is where we start looking at the story from the other person’s point of view and if that doesn’t help we can also look at it from the point of view that we suspect there’s more going on than meets the eye. Because our consciousness isn’t there yet we can entertain the idea that something bigger than what we can see may be going on. This starts to take the energy away from the story, however we are still the victim here. This is where traditional forgiveness ends.

Stage 4: Re-framing the Story

This is where Radical Forgiveness begins and the tiniest amount of willingness is the only requirement. We are now looking at the situation from the new story, (the spiritual big picture) nothing wrong happened, our soul came here to experience this pain in order to learn and grow, to balance out karmic energies, or to help fulfill a mission. Whatever it is, we will never fully understand and we need to give up the need to know the why and the how. ‘Fake it until you make it’ is the key here and it works if you are willing!

Stage 5: Integrating the Story

Our victim story lives in every cell of our body so in order to integrate the new story (the transformed energies of gratitude, appreciation, grace etc.) we need to do something physical.  The RF worksheet is written and read out loud, the RF 13 Steps audio has us answer 13 questions out loud and the Radical Forgiveness Ceremony has us walking across the healing circle. Breath work is another integration we use in the 7 Step Satori Process. All Radical Forgiveness technology has physical components to it so the transformed energy is permanent.

That’s it; to easily forgive you need to get radical! It completely changed my life and it can change yours too!

Solo Dating – Breakfast

Do you start your day eating right?  So you may have to set your alarm a little earlier, but I challenge you to go eat breakfast somewhere before your day starts.  You are a lot less likely to be eating amongst couples so great if you aren’t super comfortable with eating alone.  Choose one that is on the way to where you start your day.

We all know that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day…let me tell you why.

If you skip breakfast it throws off your body’s rhythm.  You need to get fuel from food, otherwise you will have no energy and you will be more likely to overeat in the day. 

It actually kick-starts your metabolism which give you a super boost of energy and helps you burn calories throughout the day.  Studies have linked eating breakfast to better memory and concentration amongst other health benefits…so what do you have to lose?

Get the Music Flowing!

Have you ever noticed that the first few bars of a song can transport your mind back to the past to another time in your life…a good or a bad memory?

Not only that singing creates super charged brain activity in both sides of the brain (rarity)  meaning that you are exercising your brain muscle more than normal which is why it feels great!

Music can shift your mood completely and very very quickly, generally because it requires no real mental processing which is why its used so much in therapy!

So I’m encouraging you right now to go back to your music tastes and have a good sing song and get those feel good hormones flowing!

Therapeutic De-Clutter

Do you remember when you were little?

It’s not surprising probably but when I was a little girl I had a very tidy room and as I got older I was always constantly re-arranging the furniture to suit my needs.

One of the things I loved to do the most was organize my vanity which had all my precious jewellery and makeup. Some of it was the dollar store variety but I had other nicer earrings, rings and necklaces that were given to me from my mom and later on my grandma. I felt so grown up with my nice vanity table of treasures and really loved organizing it and making the space my own.

I got so much pleasure out of that space and thinking back to it I think one of the reasons why is because I did it for me. No one was telling me to do it. I just did it because it made me happy and gave me pleasure.

Do you remember the last thing you did for just you? Or how you felt after you did?

As a mother and a business owner it’s not always easy to get back to that place of happiness when all I had to worry about was organizing my lovely jewellery and makeup pieces but it goes without saying that the benefits of de-cluttering and organizing a personal space are huge.

Maybe you love to read. Creating a reading nook out of a closet with a comfy bench and some shelving is a great way to get all those books organized and do something for you.

Maybe you love to do crafts. Why not de-clutter all your old un-used supplies and then create a space to stretch out and put your creative mind to work. 

Or maybe you want, like I did as a little girl, a little jewellery and makeup space. Whatever the case may be, start today and do it for you!

Recently I spent some time going through my old jewellery box with my two daughters. I gifted some of my very ancient jewellery to them, tossed anything that no longer served a purpose and started a little spot in their room where they could keep all their treasures.

Hopefully it brings them the same pleasure that it did for me.

Love Your Job

My first job I was so blessed to be given a position in a prestigious company that would eventually lead to being a barrister in a law firm.  Everyone was so very very proud of me and would talk incessantly about how I was a Trainee Legal Executive. I felt proud, what a title I had! I got to wear power suits (it was the early 90s!) and walk around in charged heels and stand in court with lawyers all day representing the people.  I became depressed, fully dreading every day.  My bosses were just awful.  Cruel in fact.  Talking to their staff without respect.  Micro Managing.  Casting fear over all that walked their way, including their clients!  I stayed for a full year, feeling that this is what the full-time workplace was all about.  Then I made friends with a wonderful woman on the bus each day who would tell me how much she loved her job, she was passionate about the company she worked for, she felt such reward from the work that she did and felt like a family with the people who she worked for with the mutual respect of the company.  Then I realized that no longer did you have to put up with what no one deserved, but a job that you DO deserve!

I found a job within a week as a legal secretary and much to the surprise of the company for leaving the “opportunity of a lifetime” I left, I left the world of “I am stuck, this is just the way it is!”

Now, am I here encouraging you to leave your position if you are unhappy?  No, not at all.

I’m here to remind you that what you do for work should inspire you, help you to feel fulfilled, be rewarding, be contributing to you and the people around you and to provide you with financial security.  You have ONE life (that we know of) and YOU DESERVE to feel nothing for joy for your days here.  So here are my tips for you.

1.       Do you love the work that you do?  If you do, share with others how you got there.  How you made it work that you love…. If not why not, could you challenge the process and introduce a way of doing the work that would be more enjoyable to you and the people around you?  Let’s be clear, it’s a little bit like doing dishes (not the most fun) but joy can be found in most work.  It could be your time to think during the mundane tasks, daydream? 

2.       Do you realize the bigger picture of what you do?  Do you understand who your work touches?  Who it affects.  Sometimes we believe that the perceived smaller tasks have no worth.  Ask yourself/your boss, how does this affect the business.  Once we understand its worth, it automatically becomes much more rewarding.  As adult thinkers, we love to ask why!  Go ask the question!

3.       Do you love your work environment?  What do you love about it, did you create it, was it created for you?  Do you dislike the environment? What can you do to change this?  Is it the work space?  Can you brighten this up, fill with your reasons for working, photos of your dream house or your family?  Is it a dangerous/cold/unrewarding environment?  As yourself where would you rather be, is this where you deserve to be?

4.       Do you have a dream of becoming or creating a position one day?  What are you doing to work towards this?  Are you allowing yourself to feel stuck?  Speak up to your boss about your career aspirations, start to look at opportunities out there where you believe you should be!  Start the process.  Gain the knowledge, speak to the right people. 

What percentage of your day are you at work?  A HUGE percentage, right?  I hope you are reading this and feel every ounce of joy in your career, if not let’s do something about that!  Love the job you are in, or find the job you love, YOU DESERVE It!

Dining Solo

The stigma of dining solo is beginning to lift as people are more eager to full experience culinary delights alone.  In our society, frequently there is no room for being alone, there are no table set-ups for one and then you are encouraging to dine at the bar where potentially others will want to socialize with you.  Because, why would anyone want to disconnect from others and dine alone? 

In the past, you may have found yourself dreading walking into a restaurant alone, maybe you have had to do it for a business trip.  You may have felt that others see you as lonely or that you are out to pickup?  It is unfortunate but society has decided that those alone are to be pitied, suspected or avoided.  For some of you this is daunting and for others it can be a super adventure. According to Open Table (online restaurant reservations), table for one reservations have gone up 62% meaning that restaurants are catering to more solo diners than ever. 

What tips can I give you for embracing the dining alone experience?

Lunch requires less formality and usually are warmer welcome. 

Its ok to bring a physical barrier, reading or taking the opportunity to write to your friend, in your journal or document the experience. 

Check out the restaurants ahead of time, the food, level of service, the price.  Eradicate any potential sources of discomfort for you ahead of time. 

There is actually a pop-up restaurant in Amsterdam that only features tables for one.  It is called Eenmaal and was created by Dutch designer Marina van Goor.  It has sister branches opening in Antwerp, London, Berlin and New York later this year.  She wanted to create an attractive place where disconnection is okay, especially in our hyper-connected society.

Let’s encourage the local community to embrace the self date!

You don’t have to do it all!

I simply can’t do it all! I need more time with my family and to carve out ME time. Sound familiar?

You need more support but feel it’s out of reach. Outsourcing is increasingly a popular option favoured by those who see it as a time-creating solution for completing necessary, but low-value tasks around the home.  “But why would I pay someone to do tasks, errands and chores that I can do myself? Does this even make financial sense?”

The answer comes down to the price you put on creating time.  Outsourcing is about making time your priority, through outsourcing tasks, chores and errands, you’re making time more valuable than whatever it is costing you to get someone else to do it for you”.  Outsourcing makes sense when; an expert can do it faster, they will do it while you are at work or while you’re doing something that is more important to you, it is affordable or if it’s a chore you dislike.  You need to ask yourself if the emotional, mental, productivity and health benefits of outsourcing are more important to you than the cost of outsourcing.

Not having to think about these tasks and chores, knowing they are being completed, is incredibly liberating. It leaves space for more important things, like time with family, time with friends….ME time.  This is especially true if it’s something frustrating.  For instance, sure you can now pre-order your groceries and arrange a pick up time at your local grocer, but the put away, the organization of the pantry and the fridge are messy, time-consuming tasks. The hidden benefit of outsourcing your grocery shopping to the person who has overseen the organization of your kitchen, pantry and fridge, is groceries are purchased based on what is needed rather than what you think is needed, and this can translate into savings on another front.

Another phenomenon is the “sandwich” generation. A working mom who has not only her own children to care for, she is increasingly responsible for the day to day care of her parent(s).   Ultimately, time is being eaten up more than ever before. Outsourcing offers relief, either in the home of the mom or as a service purchased for the parent’s household.

Trying to be everything to everyone – being a supermom, a perfect partner, being a model employee, and having a spotless and organized home at all times, is impossible.  The more we try to attain the unattainable, the more stress and unhappiness we can feel in our lives.  As women, we often take on the weight of the world to the detriment of our own health and well-being which ultimately doesn’t allow us to reach our full potential.  Outsourcing some of the household tasks is a solution that many women are now embracing for this very reason.

Revel In Your Success

I want you all to know that Today and Tomorrow that you DESERVE and you CAN be the person you want to be, you CAN live your life the way that you want to by learning how to change your thinking, making lifestyle modifications and being super productive. 

What is your reason for not going out there and chasing your dreams?  What is your excuse?  Do you even know why you don’t?

Have you ever used the phrase, “I don’t have the money” or “I don’t have the time”?

If this is something you really, really want to do, you WILL, you CAN and you Shall have the power to take charge of YOUR life.  You may have to jump some obstacles and face some challenges.  Let me share something with you.  I had the privilege of watching the Motivational Coach Tony Robbins speak a few years ago in Toronto.  I’m going to copy one of his exercises, please follow me: 

Open both arms wide and clap, open again and clap and hold it there.  Notice and be aware of which thumb is on the top.

Now when we clap again, I want you to purposely place your thumb the opposite direction.  How does it feel?  Maybe slightly weird, uncomfortable?  That’s how change and new adventures feel at first. 

We watch shows daily on TV about how someone overcome adversity to achieve their greatness.  Articles daily on Social Media on how someone conquered a goal that before was unimaginable.  We watch people we never in a million years thought would achieve what they have achieved. 

Have you ever reflected on where you have been?  What you have achieved?  Do you realize that out there someone right now on the streets, from school, an old employer, a friend on Social Media, someone is looking at YOU and wishing that they too could have gained what you have gotton? 

Here is today’s mission.

I want you to take just 10 minutes from your day today.  I have posted the full instructions here as a link.  You will complete 3 columns.  Column one:  What successes have you achieved so far.

For some, this may be the first time that you have reflected like this exercise.  Maybe you made and grew a healthy baby, maybe you passed you driving test, learnt to swim, learnt a foreign language, overcame an emotional scenario, lost weight, maybe you provided care for an elderly person, passed high school, gained a diploma, a degree, a certificate, a master.  Did you open your own business?  Did you buy your first house, buy your first car, treated yourself to your first diamond, fancy purse?  Every and any success, no matter how small and insignificant you believe it to be, if you had successes WRITE THEM DOWN!

In the next column you will write.  Who have I helped achieve success?  Maybe you helped others with the successes we just talked about, maybe you helped someone to ride a bike, became a sounding board for someone’s idea, helped a friend with their homework for a major test, sponsored an event to raise money for a worth cause, who have you helped?

The next column, may take a little more time and this IS ok!  I want you to know that any goal you write in this column is ok.  I want you to write What successes/goals would you like to achieve. 

For today I want you to revel in your successes!  Remind your self all that you have achieved, all that you have overcome!  Share with us your biggest or favorite success in your life, let us celebrate with you!
